Bio

From 2009-15, Gabriel worked as Informatics Site Head, for Roche Romania where he was in charge with establishing and managing the IT department in line with Pharma Global Informatics: management, budgeting and reporting, solutions design and implementation, engineering, help desk and support, training and administration. Also, he was Site Security Officer and COREMAP Lead at regional cluster level IM for Bulgaria & Moldova.

From 20050-09, he was System Administrator with the same company and provided IT support in aligning the continuously growing business in Romania with corporate standards and policies as well as designating, implementing, and developing the networking environment.

From 2000-05, he worked as IT Manager at GlobalNET S.A. and as Network Administrator for Integrator Romania, being in charge with the replacement of obsolete technologies, providing professional consulting services to internal departments and implementing business solutions.

Prior to this, Gabriel was Computer System Engineer at Termica S.A. and an engineer at the Environmental Energy Research Department of the University Valachia, Targoviste.
He graduated in Industrial Automation and Informatics at the Polytechnic University, Bucharest.

Gabriel holds extensive technical training in Database Technologies, Microsoft SQL Server 7 Database, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Active Directory/Networking/Security, VMware Infrastructure with ESX Server and Virtual Center (Install, Configure and Deploy, Secure, Analyze).

Also, he holds extensive business training in Project Management Essentials, Records Management & E-Communications, Managing IT Projects, Information Security End User Awareness, Change Management, Governance for External Digital Channels, Finance for non-finance, Situational Leadership.
