Bio
Adelina is Project Manager at Smartlink Communications where she researches on domestic and international politics and business. Prior, she was an intern and then collaborator with the strategic communications, political campaigns & public affairs consultancy.
From 2014-15, she worked as a Relations Manager for the Commercial Railway Bank. From 2013-14, she was Vice President of UN Youth Association of Romania, a coordinator of the Bucharest International Students Model United Nations Conference, a Project Manager and PR Coordinator of the Online Campaign and Roundtable “The UN Post-2015 Perspectives”, and a Manager and PR Coordinator of the Summer School “New Perspectives on Diplomacy”. She worked as an intern for Aspen Institute and the European Institute of Romania.
Adelina is a Political Science graduate, currently pursuing a second degree in Marketing at the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest and a MA in Behavioral Economics at the University of Bucharest. As an undergraduate student, she was awarded a short time scholarship at the Institute of Social Ethics, the University of Vienna. During her university years, Adelina served as Students’ Representative of the Faculty of Political Science in the University of Bucharest’s Senate.
She took part in both Romanian and international projects and trainings, such as: Aspire Academy, Romania, Economic Policy Institute’s “PYW International Academy”, Bulgaria, Model United Nations Training, Vienna,“Claim your Voice – Ban the Bomb!, Norway,“Cooperation to Discover Opportunities”, Turkey, the Aspen Junior Seminar, the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sports’ Summer University on Entrepreneurship, “Call of Diplomacy”, organized by ELSA Romania, and the UB Talks organized by the University of Bucharest’s Public Relations Office.
