Bio
From June to November 2015, Adina was a junior analyst with the Energy Policy Group focusing on energy companies and energy markets. From February to May 2015, she was an intern at the Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy, Bucharest where she coordinated list of guests for several events, gathered market intelligence and wrote both general reports such as market overviews and customized reports for major companies interested in the local market.
Prior to this, Adina was an intern for TechSoup Romania where she offered support on email marketing campaigns and wrote articles and news about technology for the community. For a number of years she was a project manager assistant for Second Chance Romania, a local charity.
From 2010-11, Adina wrote articles on the educational system for “Catedra” the online magazine of the Federation of Education Unions and for the “Republicanul” newspaper. She is a former debater for the Association for Social Education, Ploiesti.
In 2013 she was a participant in the Global Research Summer School organized by Volunteers for Ideas and Projects, Bucharest where she had trainings on comparative analysis of conflicts, European Union enlargement, the impact of mass media in perpetuating conflicts and the reconstruction of post conflict areas.
She holds a MA in International Relations from the RISE Department of the Faculty of History, the University of Bucharest. Her thesis focused on the history of unitization based cross-border cooperation in the development of offshore cross-border deposits in the Persian Gulf and the Arctic Circle.
