Bio
Alexandru has two years of experience in the private international education sector in Romania, having worked for the International School of Bucharest in an operational capacity, and in a consulting capacity for two other private education start-ups.
Previous experiences include internships with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Institute of Romania, the United Nations Development Program in Bucharest in the fields of European Affairs, Peace Action, and International Development. Also in the political field, Alexandru has experience with Political War Rooms, Quick Response and Policy Analysis.
Other experiences include a suite of collaborations with Romanian NGOs such as LSRS, Synergetica, Rotaract, FOND, to name a few, holding various positions and roles in the private business environment, and being a university teaching assistant.
He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Bucharest, an MA in European Studies from CCItaBe & the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, and an MBA from the UNESCO Chair for Intercultural Studies, a program developed by the Bucharest, Geneva, and Friburg Universities. Further specialised courses include International Relations with the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and Peacebuilding, Conflict Transformation and Post-war Stabilisation with the Peace Action Training & Research Institute of Romania.
Alexandru is fluent in English and French.
