Bio
Mihai serves as Country Head of Law, Patents and Compliance for Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria for a major pharma company, where he coordinates the compliance practices and offers legal support for the top management in solving problems in the areas of Corporate business Law, M&A, Contract law, Financial Law, Competition Law, Labour Law, European Law and Regulatory, Compliance issues.
As an advisor to healthcare and construction companies, he has been involved in drafting corporate compliance regulations and contracts, advising on regulatory and supervising the implementation of group regulations, coordinating activities in relation with relevant healthcare public authorities, negotiating international trade agreements and establishing the policies and guidance of implementing compliance programs. Over the years he represented the Company in Professional Associations working groups, organized general legal and compliance trainings with concerned departments and conducted the main training programs within the Company in antitrust and anticorruption.
He is a member of the College of legal Counselors, Bucharest and of the Association of Franco – Romanian Jurists.
Mihai holds a PhD in International Law from the Law School of the University of Bucharest and a MA in International and European business law from the joint program of Paris 1 Pantheon, Sorbonne University and the University of Bucharest. He holds a BA in Economics from the Faculty of International Business and Economics of the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest.
Mihai holds extensive international training in specialized corporate law & business conduct, the effectiveness of justice, group compliance policies, and compliance and corporate law. Mihai has been a speaker to a number of conferences such as “Romanian Ethics and Compliance Forum” and Pharma Law Convention 2014 in Bucharest and 2015 in Budapest.
