Bio
In 2014 Iuno volunteered for Amnesty International in the organization of the “Write for Rights” Campaign and was an intern at Freedom House Romania where she researched judicial matters, worked on databases, offered support in organizing conferences and translated official EU documents.
From June 2013 to September 2014, Iuno was an intern at Foreign Policy Romania where she researched on Russia related issues and worked on the accounts and database of the “Romania 2.0.” project.
From 2012-15, she was Secretary General for societatesicultura.ro where she wrote articles on social and political issues, centralized members’ activity, and organized events.
From 2012-14, Iuno volunteered for the Romanian Association for Culture, Education and Normality (ARCEN) where she did research in support for cultural tours, managed social media posts and offered support in organizing events. In August 2015 she held a training at the Romania Youth Forum on designing directions and collaboration for Youth Strategies 2015-2020.
Over the years, Iuno took part in a series of international projects: “Leaders International” – 2011, Washington DC; Bilateral Project Romania-Turkey “Dreaming of Europe, Dreaming of a Green Europe” – 2013, Turkey; Bilateral Youth Project “Romania-Moldova via Youth Leaders” – 2015, Republic of Moldova. In October 2015 she participated in SPMUN – Sciences Po Model United Nations Paris.
Iuno is currently enrolled in an International Security MA program at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). During Iuno’s MA program in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Bucharest she was awarded an Erasmus Scholarship at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. In 2013 Iuno took the two-months online EdX “Justice” course from Harvard University.
Iuno is proficient in English and fluent in French and Spanish.
