Mugur Dragos Tolici

Bio

Mugur Tolici serves as Director of the Human Resources Department at the National Bank of Romania.

In his two decade career, he rose through the ranks of the National Bank, from Economist on Monetary Policy, to Head of Monetary Policy Division, to Adviser to the Deputy Governor, to Deputy Director, Issue, Treasury and Cash Management Department.

Mr. Tolici is an associate professor at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration and at the Academy of Economic Studies.

Mr. Tolici holds a diploma in Finances and Banks and a PhD in Economics. He has a Certificate of Merit from Pew Economic Freedom Fellows Program of Georgetown University – Edmund G. Walsh School of Foreign Service. Over the years, he spoke at many conferences and forums about the Romanian Financial System, Human Resources, and leadership in monetary system.
