Bio
Former consular officer acting for the Consular Division of Romanian Embassy in Rome, Italy from January 2014 to December 2016, Pimen rapidly gained an impressive international professional experience during his term in the consular and diplomatic field by attending numerous conferences, events and professional trainings.
Starting with 2010 up until 2011, Pimen worked as paralegal in a Law Office from Timisoara. In March 2011 Pimen has been awarded with a Scholarship for his Master Studies from a Law Firm specialized in Business Law, located in Bucharest. Pimen acted as Junior Associate in-house and dealt with a series of matters for this company’s clients.
Along the years he has successfully collaborated with a series of Non Governmental Organizations as Nepsis Fellowship (Italian branch), Elsa, Aiesec and UN Youth Romania (West branch), being assigned in various positions and roles for the same.
With a multi-disciplinary education background (diplomacy and protocol, Business Law, Law and Security Policies), Pimen holds a MA level module in Soft Skills of Diplomacy awarded in 2016, at The International School of Protocol and Diplomacy, Brussels – with a focus on soft skills of diplomacy and protocol practices accompanied by a thesis on EU migration phenomenon.
Pimen also holds a Master degree in Business Law, thesis subject – Competition Law, sustained at West University of Timisoara in 2012 and a Bachelor of Laws awarded in 2010 from the same University. Extensively, he concluded various other courses on ethical reasoning and Comparative Law held by the West University of Timisoara and an online courses “Justice” from edX – Harvard University.
In 2016 he attended security courses on terrorism and geopolitics at The Italian Society for International Organizations, Farnesina`s first associate in Italy, and NATO Defense College Foundation Rome, Italy.
Pimen has remarkable interest in Corporate Law, public and cultural diplomacy, international relations, political and foreign affairs analyses, government relations and public leadership.
He is fluent in English and Italian.
