Bio

Raisa Preutescu works as a Corporate Governance Specialist at The National Power Grid Company “Transelectrica”.

She gained wide professional experience in the field of central public administration, when she worked as a counselor for the relationship with the civil society and public authorities at the Romanian Presidential Administration and as a consultant at the Government of Romania. Also, she completed several internships, including the internship in the European Parliament and at the Directorate for Governmental Strategies at the Government of Romania.

From 2014 Raisa is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, where she also received two MAs, in European Integration and Security and in European Law, and a BA in Political Science. She was the recipient of the Erasmus Fellowship at Konstanz University, Germany and the POSDRU Scholarship from the European Union Program.
